A band who play Irish and Scottish traditional music on fiddles, flute, whistles, mandolins, guitar and harp
We toured for many years with the Irish dance group Absolutely Legless, travelling all over the world and having amazing adventures. We didn’t want it to end, so now we’re on our 2nd Leg!
We play fast, exciting reels and jigs, haunting airs and rousing songs
We’ve performed in everything from huge ampitheatres and festival stages, right down to intimate pub sessions. We’ve even taken Eoin’s harp on a ski-lift so we could play on top of a Swiss mountain! No matter the size or location of the venue, 2nd Leg can bring the tunes.
One of our fiddlers – Kat – is a champion Irish step dancer, and we have two experienced ceilidh dance callers in the band if you’d like to dance as well. We can do concerts, ceilidhs or sessions, just ask and we’ll put together a show for you!
We are based across Scotland and the North of England, but we can travel far and wide.
